The Seward Park Extension's Teen Center is a powerhouse collaboration between Vision Urbana, Inc. and Grand Street Settlement, funded through the Department of Youtha and Community Development (DYCD) and operates from 6pm-10pm Monday-Friday and Saturdays from 10am-5pm. 
The program is available for 6th to 12th grade students and is free to attend.  Every night students receive homework help from 6pm-6:45pm. Afterwards, beginning at 6:45pm-7:30pm, evening activities include:

If you are currently a senior in high school and of Hispanic/Latino descent, you can apply here. The last day to apply is October 1st.







New York City is proud to offer the NYC Web Development Fellowship, a 22-week program designed to train New York youth, 18-25 years old, in the skills necessary to kick off careers in web development. The program will prepare graduates with no prior programming experience for jobs as Web Developers, creating web-based software applications that power internet companies like Intel, Etsy, and Kickstarter.

For all Seniors heading into a SUNY College in Fall of 2016.

These scholarships will cover all costs of attendance, including tuition, room and board, college fees, books and supplies, and transportation and personal expenses. Applications are available below, and are due on March 15, 2016.






October 3rd, 2015

Financial Aid workshops will be conducted by experts in the completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, Financial Literacy and the College Application Process.

Registration will start @ 9:00am followed by workshops from 10:00am - 1:00pm.
